Children and Families
Everyone, young and old, is welcome at our churches.
We may not have a regular Sunday morning programme for children, but activities are available, and we are always looking to involve our younger members in our worship.
For enquiries about having your child baptised, please contact the parish priest.
A mid-week Children’s Liturgy is offered monthly during term time at St Columba’s in Wanaka. Pre- and primary school aged children are most welcome.
Special Services (e.g., Easter, Christmas, Blessing of the Animals) provide opportunities for families of all ages to come together and to celebrate as one.
Mainly Music is held every week during term time. Tuesdays 9:30am at the Presbyterian Church in Wanaka and 10:00am at the Presbyterian Church in Cromwell, and Wednesdays 9:30am at St Ninians in Hawea Flat.
YAK is for students from Years 9 to 13 wanting to explore issues of life and faith. Tuesday after school at the Lighthouse Church in Reece Crescent, Wanaka.
